One Clarke Quay Village

    Project Description

The One Clarke Quay Village is envisioned as a vibrant cultural and community hub that harmoniously blends heritage, sustainability, and modern urban living. Nestled along the historic Singapore River, this revitalized space celebrates the charm of Clarke Quay while introducing new layers of meaning through thoughtful design and curated experiences. It offers both locals and tourists a welcoming and memorable destination, where culture, nature, and community come together.
At the heart of One Clarke Quay Village is a deep respect for Singapore’s rich heritage. The project preserves key architectural features of the original shophouses and warehouses, maintaining the district’s historical character while integrating contemporary functions. By retaining these visual and structural elements, the space becomes a living museum, one that tells the story of Singapore’s evolution from a colonial port to a modern, global city.

More than just a commercial or leisure space, One Clarke Quay Village serves as a community connector, a place where people come not only to shop or eat, but to engage with art, heritage, and one another. Pop-up exhibitions, music performances, and cultural workshops transform the village into a dynamic, ever-evolving venue for creative expression. By weaving together old and new, natural and built, personal and communal, One Clarke Quay Village becomes a meaningful space that reflects Singapore’s identity past, present, and future. It invites everyone to slow down, explore, and connect with the stories, flavors, and rhythms of the riverside.
