IKATAN

    Project Description

Building on its legacy of engineering excellence, the reimagined School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) embraces holistic education—moving beyond traditional STEM-focused curricula that often neglects teamwork, communication, and creativity.

Embracing IKATAN- the ties that unite, the design replaces rigid spaces with interconnected circular forms for inclusivity and collaboration. Intersected layouts create dynamic environments where formality meets informality, fostering teamwork, communication, and creativity. Biophilia strengthen these connections, linking students to nature and each other

The design promotes future sustainability through two key aspects:
(1) Transforming learning environments into lifelong collaborative hubs
(2) Incorporating sustainable features to cultivate environmentally mindful engineers
